The Eagles face QPR U21 at Top Field this Friday evening for yet another pre-season friendly for Lee Bircham’s side. Bedford will look to continue their excellent start to pre-season with a good performance.

Last time out, the Eagles beat Newport Pagnell 1-9 at Willen Road in a remarkable friendly win for Bedford. The Eagles found themselves 0-7 up at half time and got an additional two goals in the second half.

Ryan Blake bagged five, there was an own goal, Ben Baker got on the score sheet as well as Gucci Soulya-Osekanongo and Leon Lobjoit.

Prior to this, the Eagles beat Beaconsfield Town 0-5 in a friendly. Bedford scored five lovely goals to cap off an impressive victory away from home against step four opposition.

In recent days, the Eagles have announced a few new signings. The first was that Dominic Morgan-Griffiths had rejoined the club to help bolster the midfield for the coming season.

A second signing that was announced was that Josh Boorn had signed for the Eagles. The striker joins from Marlow FC as he looks to kick on at step three level.

The most recent signing to be announced was Rob Hall signing a deal with Bedford Town. Hall has experience in the top six levels of English football and an impressive career so far.
