The Eagles face Mickleover FC in Derbyshire for another Southern League Premier Division Central fixture. Bedford Town were recently held to a 0-0 draw away against Needham Market and will want to get a win in response to that.
Bedford currently hold thirteenth place in the table following some inconsistent form. Wins against Rushall Olympic and Coalville Town were followed by a 0-3 loss to Alvechurch and a 0-0 draw against Needham Market.
Former Luton Town man Michael Harriman was back on the pitch against Needham Market after he hasn’t played for the last few matches. He will be eager to get some game time against Mickleover.
Afolabi Soyemi-Ololade has been filling the void left by Tyrone Lewthwaite and has been showing his strengths as a player already. He scored his first goal a few weeks ago in the 2-1 win over Coalville Town.
New recruit Diadier Camara has been impressive since signing for the Eagles. He has played quite a few games now and he has played with class and confidence in each match.
Mickleover have had a decent start to the season and occupy seventh place in the league. Sports have been up and down the table but have really started to climb up the table lately.
Sports have been on a fantastic run recently, winning four games in a row including a 2-5 thriller against Barwell. There have also been wins against AFC Rushden & Diamonds, Bromsgrove Sporting and Basford United.
Ryan Wilson has been in some great form for Mickleover lately, scoring in three of their last four games. He has been one of the most important players for Mickleover this season.
