First team manager David Jones has completed his third summer signing, with 24 year old striker Jack Williams joining the club from neighbours Montgomery Town.
Williams impressed at Montgomery where he became one of the most dangerous forwards in the league after joining from Caersws, and now follows in his fathers footsteps by playing for the Rhiewsiders.
Manager David Jones said 'Jack is someone who we have been aware of for a few years now and who I think was one of the best forwards in last seasons Mid Wales League. He certainly was impressive against us last season and caused our back line numerous problems in our games against Montgomery, and his strength, power and goal scoring can only strengthen us for the new season'.
Jones was also happy with his attacking options ahead of the new season saying 'I think we have a lot of different options going forward and a big goal threat. Between the likes of Jack, Richard Davies, Jake O'Donnell, Joe Haycock, Andy Evans and others we have plenty of goals and different types of players who can cause different problems for opposition defences'.
Williams joins Sam Evans and Josh Evans in joining the club this pre season, with the squad now looking forward to being given the go ahead to start the new season.
