Beverley Braves is a fantastic community club and currently has about 150 children registered from the Beverley area. The club committee, coaches and everyone involved in the club are volunteers - no one is paid for their time and therefore we run on a large amount of goodwill and public support.

It is a very critical time in the development of the club as we are hoping to move to a new ground on Thurlow Avenue within a few months. This in itself will bring great PR opportunities for any sponsor so hopefully that will appeal to you.

We have a great bunch of children involved and they do a lot of work themselves to raise money for their teams. Previously the children have carried out bag packs at Morrisons, Tescos, and B&M Home Bargains to raise funds for a tour to Skegness for the 'Rhinos challenge' http://rhinoschallenge.co.uk/ , a huge tournament with 170 teams involved. The children behaved so well that we were advised that they would be welcomed back again in the future to help with other fund raising. This club not only teaches them about the game but it has also reinforces a strong work ethic and code of conduct that we are really proud of. The children are great ambassadors for the game and for the local community.

We have strong links with Hull FC and Hull KR. The children have played and taken part in pre-match activities at the KCOM and Craven Park Stadiums prior to big matches. They also get opportunities to act as mascots at big games where club kit is worn.

Any sponsorship secured is invested well. Sponsorship of specific teams tends to be allocated to the purchasing of match day kit, training tops and hoodies were the sponsors logo can be displayed. Club sponsorship is usually focused on funding training facilities and general training and match day equipment such as balls, water bottles, first aid kits and the clubs continuous efforts to develop the coaching skills, ensuring sufficient volunteers have first aid training and all are DBS checked.
