A Brief History of Salisbury
Salisbury reformed in 2015/16 after Salisbury City were expelled from the National League in 2015 for unpaid debts. Salisbury were originally founded in 1947 and played in the Western League winning the Division Two title and then the Western League title on two occasions. In 1968/69 they joined the Southern League. After changing their name to Salisbury City (not to be confused with the Salisbury City that existed from 1905-1939) they became Southern League Southern Division Champions in 1994/95. In 2005/06 they were Southern League Champions and a season later were promoted to the Conference after finishing runners-up in the Conference South. After a brief spell back in the Southern League they found their way back to the Conference (later renamed the National League) but they folded after being expelled from the league in 2014 due to unpaid debts. They reformed as Salisbury in 2015/16 and won the Wessex League Premier Division and promotion to the Southern League Division One South & West. Salisbury also reached the semi final of the FA Vase last season losing out to Hereford 3-1 on aggregate.

Form Guide
There's no team in the division that are in better form than Salisbury who are currently in 2nd position (W28 D2 L11). This calendar year they have only lost three league games (to North Leigh, Tiverton and Hereford) and have won fifteen. The Whites come into the final league fixture off the back of five straight wins in which they've scored 25 goals. A win for Salisbury at the Sports Ground would secure 2nd place and home advantage in the play offs.

15/04/17 Mangotsfield United 1 Salisbury 3 (League)

01/04/17 Shortwood United 0 Salisbury 3 (League)
28/03/17 Salisbury 7 Bridgwater Town 0 (League)
25/03/17 Salisbury 0 Hereford 4 (League)
While Bideford are on their worst run of the season (nine games without a win), they have now gone three games unbeaten with draws against Totton, Evesham and Taunton. Performances against Evesham and Taunton were very encouraging and The Robins should really have won both games. A point against Salisbury would guarantee Bideford a top ten finish (W15 D11 L14).
