After being bowled out for only 119 Birstall found luck was on there side when
Townville on 33 for 0 left the field due rain & there was no more play possible.
Craig Wood 37 opening top scored for Birstall, Eric Austin 24 & Joe Gott 13 were
the only other Batsmen to reach double figures.
Birstall remain in 6th position & still remain hopeful of a top four spot at the end
of the season but will need to win all 5 remaining games to achieve there target.
Some I'm sure they are more than capable of doing.
