History was made today when Bishops Cleeve Walking Football team played their first ever league match in the Gloucestershire FA over 60s Walking Football League.
The games held at Almondsbury included the first 4 league matches against more experienced teams . The Bishops cleeve squad of 10 competed in every fixture and ended up with 3 draws and unfortunately 1 loss . The players and management of the team deserve credit for the superb performances put in and they all were superb ambassadors for the club .

We kept the other teams at bay , our goalkeeper had little to do , Rob Hunt and Alan Scanlon forced the opposition goalkeepers to pull off good saves
