Boldon CA travel to Doctor Pit Park on Saturday in the Northern League, looking to put behind them their last couple of outings.

On a cold Tuesday evening it was the visitors who brought the heat to net at will to the tune of ten.

The Villa at times were their own worst enemy being in good attacking positions only to lose or give away the ball and be punished with McGee netting five and Bays three with Daley and Jackson also finding the target. There was some positives to take from the game with a Robbie Gateshill brace and Drysdale on target.

Our opponents on Saturday Bedlington have drawn, won and lost their last three games with a good point on the road at Ryton (D2-2), Grangetown BC (W3-0) and Washington (L0-4). They currently sit in 11th place on 29 points winning 8 of their 22 matches played so far.

Whilst this season has been a crazy one, with results being a mixed bag a good run of results would be gratefully received.

Last time the two sides met was on Tuesday 6th of August at the Boldon Colliery Welfare Ground with the Terriers coming out on top by the odd goal in five. Jordan Reed and former captain Luke Collins with a penalty the scorers for The Villa that night.

Kick off tomorrow is the traditional 3pm start and The Villa would welcome some support as we make the journey to Northumberland.
