Bosham's transitional squad put in an improved performance to take a share of the spoils in an entertaining 3-3 draw with Worthing Town.

A minutes' silence following the recent passing of Life Member, Dave 'Smudger' Smith was impeccably observed ahead of kick-off, with Bosham's assistant referee, Amy Hancock using one of Dave's refereeing flags for the occasion.

After a spate of challenging fixtures against this season's front runners, Bosham took a hard-earned point from this end-to-end encounter at Walton Lane, which saw four goals in the opening quarter-hour.

Callum Coker opened the scoring for the Robins, before two quick fire replies from the visitors. Joe Morrison then made it two a piece, prior to Alassane Sinayogo's strike just before the interval to give the visitors the lead once more.

However, Bobby Jones found the net for the Reds just after the hour to conclude the scoring and give Tony Hancock's side a valuable point.

A local derby at Chichester City B awaits next for Bosham on October 19 (3pm).
