The Christmas Draw was made on the evening of 22 December in the bar at Chapel Gate. Two players attended, a small number purchased tickets and one or two sold tickets to family and friends. Overall, £90 was given in prizes and an equivalent amount went into club funds. £90 will pay for approximately one-half of a new door for our changing room refurbishment – but every little counts.

The winners were:

Adam Homer: a £10 Gift Voucher provided by Ken Allen Family Butcher, 38 Victoria Road, Ferndown: a long-standing supporter of BSFC.

The following cash prizes were won:

It is with a small degree of embarrassment that the draw organizer won first prize. It was only when forcefully pressed by those present that the organizer reluctantly, and with due humility, accepted the prize.

* On the night I pledged £50 on behalf of the 1st team squad and as luck would have it one of those 50 tickets came in with a £15 prize so we will have a separate draw to see who gets a £15 discount off their tracksuit order. Rich Maidment pledged £20 but regrettably failed to trouble the prize list and other players have pledged - we will catch up on this over the next week or so.
