Each school sent teams in years 7, 8 and 9 who took turns to play each other with each school having successes across the age groups.

The conditions were not conducive to passing rugby with a strong gale blowing so teams found themselves adapting their style of play to suit.

All players were given a hot meal afterwards while they chatted about the competition.

The tournament is a regular fixture with a trophy for the winners at the end of the season.
