Registration of your Child with BTYFC requires an annual subscription which is fixed prior to the
beginning of each new season.
The registration fee helps to cover the costs of:
Coaching by Level 1 minimum qualified Coaches (Voluntary post).
Training (indoors in winter when required)
Equipment and Kit
Insurance
League Registration
Note: it does not cover fines or referees fees where required.

Registration
Under 8’s upwards require completion of both a BTYFC registration form and a League registration
form.
Below this age group we only require completion of a BTYFC registration form. Copies of these forms
and further instructions can be found on our Website http://www.btyfc.org.uk or contact the Club
Registration Officer.

Referees fees
It is the responsibility of the Home team to arrange a Referee. If the Referee is a qualified and paid
official and requires payment for the game then this is also the responsibility of the Home Team. The
Club does NOT cover the costs of referees ‐ this is the responsibility of the Home Coach and is
normally funded by the collection of “subs” from the players at the time.

Football Kit
All kit is procured through the clubs kit manager
The Club will make available enough sets of football kit for players chosen to play in a particular
match. This kit remains the property of BTYFC at all times. The Kit is defined as a shirt, shorts and a
pair of socks in the colours of the specific BTYFC age group applicable. Any additional kit i.e. Track
suites, rain jackets, tour kit etc, will require funding by individual age groups.
BTYFC has a policy of recycling Kit for each age group and this is periodically replaced and topped up
where required. Any age group can purchase new kit if they wish through external funding such as
Sponsorship, is subject to sanction by the Clubs Exec Committee. This kit will also fair in the clubs
recycling process.

Training
All training facilities, including Indoor during the winter, are provided and paid for by the Club.
Transport to and from the training facility is the responsibility of the respective Parent/Guardian.

Contact
BTYFC preferred method of contact is by e‐mail and our Website. All information relating to your
team/age group will be posted onto the website which should be used by players/parents as the
central point for information.
Coaches will make individual arrangements in any situation where Internet access/email facilities are
not be available.

Website
All Parents/Guardians/Players are encouraged to use the BTYFC website for information on Team
selections, Match reports and posting newsworthy items etc.

Fines
BTYFC will seek reimbursement from any player’s Parent/Guardian for fines that may be incurred by
that player while representing BTYFC. The collection of fines will be (in the first instance) the
responsibility of the respective Coach.

Respect
BTYFC is a Charter Standard Club. We follow and promote the FA Respect Code of Practice and we
expect all Coaches, Players and BTYFC Spectators to follow the guidelines at all times.
It is essential that Adults set a positive example to our young people to make the experience of
taking part in a game of football as enjoyable as possible.
If any issues arise during a game that involve BTYFC Players/Spectators then the coach should be
informed.
If the Coach is aware or made aware of any breaches of the Respect guidelines then they will raise
this with those concerned at the time.

Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check
BTYFC requires all Coaches to have successfully undergone a “CRB” check prior to being allowed to
coach or act in any responsible position where young people are involved.
Welfare Officer
BTYFC have a Welfare Officer who can be contacted in strictest confidence should anyone have any
child protection or other issues relating to the welfare of young people involved with BTYFC.

Coaching Qualifications
The Club is required by its Chartered status to provide Coaches qualified to a minimum of Level1

Equipment
All training and match equipment deemed necessary by the Club will be provided.

Volunteers
There are a variety of vital roles that can be carried out by volunteers to help your Coach with the
running of the team. Our Coaches give up their free time in order to carry out the many tasks
necessary so that your children can play a game of football in a safe and well‐organised
environment.
If you feel you are able to help in any way then please let your respective Coach know of your
availability.

Parent Representatives
BTYFC have an executive Committee that meets approximately every 2 months. The Executive
Committee are elected every year to make decisions that affect the overall running of the Club and
have legal responsibilities.
In order to encompass a wide range of viewpoints and be fully representative of everyone involved
with BTYFC we welcome any parents who wish to represent their team or Age Group at these
meetings.
