The more sweat in training, the less you bleed in battle!

Some things we need to work on:

Running straight to keep your team mates in the game.

Passing before you get into trouble so that the person receiving the ball has half a chance.

Positioning amongst the backs whilst rucking or mauling in progress.

Some things that worked well today:

Tackling was great today. I specifically requested that ALL tackles to be kept low. I am proud to say that not one Braintree player made a high tackle. WELL DONE!

Rucking on 30th January 2011 at Maldon away was well executed and meaningful. Great driving.

If anyone has any comments on what they thought went well, what didn’t go well or why they are doing what they are doing, I will be pleased to hear them.

Also, any ideas you think may help the coaches I will be pleased to hear them.

I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday night at training and again on Sunday for training as there are only matches for U7’s, 8’s & 9’s.

Regards, Paul.

Ps. Has anyone been taking any photos over the past few games? If so I’d love to see them. If you haven’t get your camera out for the coming games or even video
