Our new Play-It-Forward Fund is already showing its value. Everyone who’s wanted to pull on a Rogues shirt and play some hockey this season has been able to, regardless of their financial situation.

Brighton Rogues started our Play-It-Forward fund just a few months ago, out of a collective desire to ensure cost is never a barrier to playing our brilliant sport of hockey. Thanks to generous donations and amazing fundraising efforts – who could forget Larna’s epic cycle journal to Paris? – the fund now has a very healthy glow and is out there working hard for the team.

Any current or prospective Rogue can apply to access the Play-It-Forward fund if they are on a low income or have had a recent change in circumstances. All applications are, of course, treated confidentially and sensitively. Anyone can contribute to the fund, and any size of donation is welcome. £10 will cover someone’s match fee, while £150 will cover a half-season membership.
