Paul (Bingo) Staynings who at 34 years old has been a one club player and a valid member of the club at Avonmouth for many years,having played 1st team rugby at hooker and more recently at flanker he has had success with promotion winning glos prem and also a combination plate winners medals.
Due to work and family commitments, bingo had been playing 3rd team rugby at avonmouth when he was struck down with a serious knee ligament injury.
Knowing bingo as we at "The Mouth" do he plays the game with the same attitude and commitment weather it be 1st 2nd or 3rd team rugby ,a great player to play alongside and a very popular socialite after the match.
The injury hospitalized him for 3/4 weeks and his recovery has been a long slow painful one.
The Bristol Dockers have been raising funds for worthy causes for many years and were approached to play and entertain us in aid of Bingo, so enjoy the game,give as much or as little as you can afford to this very worthy cause but most of all have a pint in the bar and savour the values of what Avonmouth RFC and the Bristol Dockers are all about.
