A hard fought victory but the scoreline doesn't really tell the full story. Much of the second half was spent defending in our own half. We were well worthy of victory though. Needless to say, the scrums were awesome, especially on the loose head side....

Man of Match: Dan Saxby. Our favourite ex-player and now favourite occasional guest player put in a great performance both in defence and attack. He controlled the back line with great chat and put in a top defensive performance. Oh and we saw the occasional flash of the long missed 'snake-hips' in attack!

Other significant points:
- Allan Inwood made his BA debut in the second row. Played 80 mins and had a cracking game. Welcome to the club fella
- Cameron, Northern Paul and Irish Paul all turned our to help us out in a guest capacity (courtesy of Dan Sax) . Again, all had very good games.
- My personal favourite moment of the match was when Dan Bish took a penalty kick to touch from our ten meter line after a sustained period of Kilburn pressure. Rather than releasing the pressure with an assured touch finder into their half, he decided to slice it backwards to find touch on our own 22! The forwards were delighted. Seriously though Bish, good to have you back down.
