This weekend saw the end of the first month of the season, our teams again performed well.
Our U9 starlets drew 3-3 against tough opposition, each time the lads pulled ahead their lead was reduced almost immediately. The lads were unlucky not to clinch the winner, creating chance after chance to finish the game but it wasn't to be their day!!!
It was cup week for our U12s who hosted the first round at home to Hyde Park. The home team scored within the first five minutes and from then on dominated the whole game. Dec phillips scored his first ever hatrick, following Alex Wolny's well taken hatrick during the first half. The balance of goals scored by Toby Andrew, Cobi Newton and Brad Marley.
Our U13s enjoyed a week off.
U16s entertain Moorends Stingers at home. Broddy opened their account after two minutes with Patrick Church finishing with ease. Broddy then fell behind going 1-2 down with the visitors enjoying a good twenty five minute spell. Alex Irwin then produced a superb hatrick within five minutes to reduce the arrears before half time. Broddy dominated the second half which saw Patrick Church hitting his second and goals from Ryan Curran and Lewis Webster sealing the game 7-3.
