About Us

Bromley Common Cricket Club was formed in 1889 (see Club History). We are one of only 5 Kent clubs to field 5 Saturday Kent League teams (2 in the Kent Cricket League & 3 in the Kent Regional Cricket League). We also run a Sunday Development team and a T20 Cup team at adult level.

The Cricket Committee oversees a structured approach to adult cricket at BCCC. At Junior level, in 2015, the club has entered 3 representative teams into the North Kent Junior League (at U15,U13,U11 levels) and a Sunday Development team. BCCC players regularly feature in district, county and even national level cricket.

The coaching team at BCCC consists of more ECB qualified coaches than at any other club in the area, many of whom also play regularly in our adult teams. All summer coaching and all matches are held at The Grove since the acquisition of our second cricket pitch, The Acorns. Coaching continues in the winter at local indoor net facilities.

Our ground at The Grove is set in picturesque, tranquil surroundings. Club facilities include 2 cricket pitches, impressive outdoor nets, a clubhouse and ample parking.

We have worked hard to obtain our Clubmark accreditation that is endorsed by both Sport England and the England & Wales Cricket Board. In 2008, we were awarded Focus Club status by the Kent Cricket Board. We feel that this demonstrates our long term commitment to safe, enjoyable and successful cricket.

Please explore the website to find out more about our club. We have an open membership policy and are always happy to welcome new members.
