Brookfield Hockey Club's newest team opened the season with a win. 5 players made their debut including our youngest member, 12 year-old Mae (pictured centre). Our player-of-the-match, Mary (also on debut), opened Brooks' account with a great little tap in at the post. Jess scored the second with a strong hit that gave the keeper no chance. Lancs & Morecambe fought back hard but Brooks just held on thanks to a stunning save from a penalty flick by GK, Dee, in the last few minutes of the game.
