The Bluebirds came away from Ruthin with a deserved point gained against a very good Ruthin side.
The game was played on a difficult pitch with heavy overnight rain making the playing surface difficult.
Both sides played their part in an entertaining game with end to end exchanges throughout. The Bluebirds should have gone ahead just before half time when Luke Sherbon missed a great chance. However they did take the lead early in the second half when Steve Blenkinsop headed in a Jake Parr corner.Ruthin equalised after 63 minutes when the Bluebirds defence failed to clear and Ilan Morris scored from close range.
Both sides pushed hard for the winner but in the end the game ended in a draw with a much more committed performance from the Bluebirds
