It was certainly a game of two halves with a depleted Cherry & Whites team totally dominating proceedings creating a hatful of chances and scoring 4 converted tries to go in at the break 28 points clear.

To their credit the Reds came out for the second half determined to make a game of it and a brace of tries in the opening 7 minutes saw them half the deficit.

Camborne upped their game and got back into the match but although they created opportunities it seemed every time they were getting on top a decision would go against them and the Reds would be able to clear their lines.

The visitors crossed for their 3rd try with the game into the final quarter and their tails were up. Again Camborne fought back and took the game to the Reds but they still couldn't seem to get any decisions go their way and so were unable to capitalise.

With the clock running down the Reds drew level going over for their 4th touchdown from close in despite some excellent defence from 'Town'.

Going into the match without experienced backs Josh Matavesi, Alex Ducker, Nico De Battista, Jack Davis and AJ King the hosts would have probably taken a draw before kick off but the way they performed in the opening 40 minutes they will be very disappointed not to taken the win.
