Camborne's Josh Matavesi, who now plays for Pro 12 outfit The Ospreys in Wales, has been recalled to the Fiji squad for this Saturday's Autumn international against England at Twickenham (2.30pm). Utility back Matavesi (26), one of three rugby playing brothers, along with Sam and Joel, has already won 16 caps for Fiji, who he qualifies to play for through his Fijian father Sireli, who toured the United Kingdom as a Fiji Barbarian in 1987, where he met his Cornish wife, Karen and settled in Camborne playing for the Cherry & Whites.

Tragically though he suffered a life changing event in 2014, when an operation to save his life caused him to be paralysed and his sons helped organise a highly successful special charity match last year to raise funds for Marie Therese House in Hayle.
Josh was also a member of the Fijian 2015 World Cup squad, though only had nine minutes on the field.

Centre threequarter Joel, who started the season at Camborne, joined arch-rivals Redruth last week, but there was better news for Camborne about Sam, who will now not be starting his Royal Navy training until the middle of January, which means the powerful back row forward will be available for the National 3 South West leaders' next game at home to Bournemouth this Saturday (2.30pm).
Sam Matavesi, who will be available for Camborne on Saturday, after his Royal Navy training was delayed.
Last Saturday, Sam, as Camborne were without a game, made an on-loan cameo appearance for former club Plymouth Albion in their 27-20 National 1 home win over Moseley.
