Camborne Rugby Club have put plans in place for the immediate future by announcing their coaches for the 2017/18 campaign.
The Club have appointed Damien Cook (Forwards) and Rhodri Mcatee (Backs) as player coaches for next season.
The Cherry & Whites have been extremely competitive this term after ending their long absence from the National Leagues and now look forward to sustaining rugby at that level.
The appointments from within the current squad will enable continuity with the players and provide quality coaching from two vastly experienced individuals.
County stalwart Cook who started his rugby career with Camborne Colts is keen to build on the success of this season. "I am delighted to be appointed and looking forward to helping us become an established top four side with the potential to push on with the ultimate aim of promotion".
Former Cornish Pirates favourite Mcatee commented "I am super excited about the opportunity to coach a tremendous group of lads with great potential to develop further and bring more success". The Wales Sevens International added "It is clear the Club has its house in order which gives it great foundations to progress with results on the pitch. I hope to be able to bring something to players and Club alike".
As expected Liam Chapple who has been in temporary charge since the start of the New Year will be finishing at the end of this season and the Club will we be appointing a successor as a Director of Rugby in due course.
