A group of girls/young ladies have made an approach to the club with regard to forming a ladies rugby section.
To enable this to move forward a meeting has been arranged at the clubhouse on Wednesday 28 November at 7.30pm. This will be open to anyone who wishes to become involved, either as a player or in an administrative capacity (Coaching/managing), or maybe you just want to know more. There will also be Sponsorship opportunities available for this new venture, with playing kit and training equipment required. If this is something you or your firm would be interested in please see contact details below.
Camborne Rugby Club has among the best facilities in the County and will be able to provide the perfect environment for the Ladies/Girls teams to grow and become successful.
The CRFU Youth Development Office, Mike Bratt, is very supportive, as are a couple of teachers from Camborne School, Mel Cuts and Nic, both of whom are involved with womens rugby at Penryn. This will require a lot of hard work to get off the ground so if you are interested in anyway please attend the meeting.
If you want to know more contact Kevin Oates or Terry Williams or the website who will pass your details on .
See you there!!
Terry Williams (CRFC Secretary)
