The current 100 club is flagging and down to just 47 members who each pay £5 per month for a chance to win £50 in the draw. This yields a pre-tax profit of £2200 for the club over 12 months.

The Committee has decided to try and increase the membership and are aware that to do so we will need to make it more attractive. To that end we are thinking of increasing the monthly payment to £10. This would allow us to to quadruple the monthly prize to £200, with a LIVE draw to take place in the clubhouse following the last 1st XV home match of each month.

For example 65 members @ £10 per month = £650 income (£7,800 per annum) of which £2,400 would be paid out in prize money, this would leave £5400 profit (nb which is now the cost of the clubs lease on the REC).

Obviously the more members that join the greater the amount of money the club would make and the bigger the Prize fund would become.
