One of 'Towns' oldest players passes away

Lock forward Keith Vivian dies aged 94.

Article from Ted Williams.
I have been informed that one of Camborne's oldest playing members Keith Vivian has passed away aged 94.

Keith played for the Town in the late forties, early fifties and was capped for Cornwall on 14 occasions. He also played for Cambridge University but did not get a Blue. He attended St.John's College and was in the teaching profession after university.

He obviously played for Camborne during holiday time. A big and intelligent second row ( lock forward) he would have nothing to do with foul play. I recall that on one occasion he brought a friend with him also second row named Petitt who was bigger again than Keith and "Farmer" Hocking, our hooker at the time made spectators laugh by calling for "more weight second row!!"
