The Cherry & Whites play the first of back to back matches in Somerset this Saturday when they travel to Chard.
The hosts are difficult to beat on their home ground which is one of the smallest in the league, a fact that they use to their advantage. After spending a tough season in National 3 Chard have not found things easy in South West 1 and are sitting just above the drop zone.
Recent home matches has seen them defeat Avonmouth and demolish our next opponents Bridgwater before last weeks narrow loss at Teighnmouth. So they will certainly be up for the fight as they have everything to play for as they look to avoid consecutive relegation's.
With scrum half's Taron Peacock and Liam Chapple both injured Camborne have been forced to shuffle the back line. Richie Kevern shows his versatility by moving from centre to no.9 which in turn see's Rhys Brownfield switch from full back to centre with Ben Stean returning to take the no.15 shirt.
In the pack Malcolm Hearn picked up a knock against Drybrook last week so Tommy Southworth switches to prop with Luke Trewhella coming in at hooker (just as they will the following day for Cornwall u20's v Devon). Tony Whittle has recovered well from an injury sustained on Saturday and has trained for both Camborne and Cornwall this week but will start on the bench with Neil Stanleick returning at flanker.
