It's not only the final match of the season for the Cherry & Whites but also the last game in charge for head coach and Director of Rugby Liam Chapple. It's going to be an emotional day for the man who's leading his team into a fourth consecutive County Cup Final following on from securing promotion to the National Leagues. So setting a record by becoming the first club to win 4 County Finals on the bounce whilst completing a league and Cup double would be great way to finish his time with the Cherry & Whites.
Liam's final selection see's just two changes from the side who won at Weston last week. In the pack there is a return for no.8 Dave Roberts who's recovered from the knock he picked up against Thornbury, so Martin Woolcock drops to the bench. Liam's saved the biggest surprise for last and that's a return at Scrum Half for the livewire no.9 Taron Peacock who's missed much of the second half of the season due to injury. This is a selfless call with the DOR sacrificing a cup final place for one of his players and say's a lot about the man.
If you can judge a teams strength by the players it has on it's bench then this is an extremely strong lineup for Town. With the likes of backs, Ben Stean, Alex Ducker and Steve Kenward plus forwards Sam Bartle, Andrius Zacharovas and Martin Woolcock all waiting to come on when needed Camborne are looking in good shape.
