The Cherry & Whites have made just 2 changes to the squad which performed so well at home to Coney Hill last week for their trip to Gloucester.
In the backs Ben Jordan comes off the bench to swop places with Harvey Jones on the wing. Ben's defensive qualities will be important in what's sure to be a tough encounter at a strong Drybrook outfit.
In the pack the departure of leading points scorer Sam Matavesi to Plymouth will be a big loss but the return of the highly rated Pirates Development back row forward Neil Stanleick certainly softens the blow. Neil came on mid way through the second half last week and proved a real handful scoring his first try for the club within a few minutes.
The front row (who were so dominant last week) see's Sam Bartle restored to his role at hooker with Tommy Southworth moving to prop in place of the unavailable Malcolm Hearn. This combination played the last 30 minutes on Saturday and proved extremely effective against a big Coney pack. There's a welcome return on the bench for Cornwall Development prop forward Andrius Zacharoves, who was in superb form against Redruth last weekend. Former England (u18's) Independent Schools flanker Cameron Sayer also returns to the bench after a good performance against the Reds last week.
The team has one of the meanest defences in SW 1 and by far the best scoring record and so will be out to prove this week they are capable of continuing this superb run of form.
The coach leaves at 7.45 tomorrow and there are still some places available, so if supporters are interested either call the club or get to the clubhouse by 7.30am.
