Camborne have two changes for their first ever trip to face Newent (Gloucestershire) this Saturday.
Centre Jack Simmons picked up a knee injury against Bridgwater so Ben Jordan moves off the bench and captain Steve Kenward returns to the squad. With wing Harvey Jones unavailable Gareth Mankee switches from full back and his place goes to Rhys Brownfield who makes his league debut for the club. Rhys who is part of the Pirates Development squad has been on loan to National 2 club Launceston and has had a couple of run outs with our reserves since returning to Town.
The only other change see's hooker Sam Bartle drop to the bench whilst Tommy Southworth moves into the front row. With Taron Peacock still injured player/coach Liam Chapple continues at scrum half.
The team are well aware that to pick up 4 or 5 points on Saturday they'll have to do something only one team has managed in 4 years win at Newent. Training sessions are going well and confidence is good among the squad, victory this weekend will send a message to the rest of South West 1 and enhance our position at the top.
