4 Players return for Top of the table clash........
Selectors disappointment at losing experienced wing Ben Drew has been tempered by the return of England u18's 7's wide man Noah Sixton. The pacy Pirates PDF player (who's been out since scoring against Redruth on Boxing day) returned to full training with the Championship club last week and makes a welcome start against Thornbury.
Cornwall duo of Tony Whittle and James Goldsworthy return to the Cherry & Whites back row. Whittle has missed several matches due to work commitments and Goldsworthy missed the Wells trip due to the imminent birth of his daughter. There is also a change in the front row with the return of former Exeter Academy Hooker Luke Trewhella after a 3 week break in Australia.
This is another huge match for both clubs with Thornbury hoping to secure a play off spot and Town looking to revenge their heaviest defeat of the season. Coaches and players know this will be a tough encounter with the Gloucester club naming former Cornish Pirates and Bristol players in their squad.
So the stage is set for 'Revenge at the REC' in front of a big crowd at the team last home appearance of the season!!
