Camborne make 5 starting changes for the visit of playoff hopefuls Barum.
Selectors have rung the changes for their clash with Barnstaple with returns for Whittle, Rose and Hinchley in the pack and Bawden on the wing.
Having played back to back matches against the bottom 2 the coaches know the team will have to up their game with fixtures against the top two coming up in the next 8 days.
They are also aware that the defensive display will need to improve from the last time the teams met, when a twenty minute loss of concentration in the second half saw them go from a 7 point advantage to a 26 point defeat.
The team has been in very good form over the last couple of months and although they've lost 3 of the last 8 a couple of unfortunate decisions and missed tackles has led to losses in games they were in control of. This week match is the sternest home test the team has faced since the visit of Bournemouth and the coaches have worked the squad hard to prepare for it.
The match throws up some mouthwatering confrontations with locks Damien Cook and Tony Whittle up against fellow Cornwall 2nd row Ben Hilton plus the Cornwall & Devon hookers (Southworth & Crouch) going head to head. In the back line Barnstaple have last seasons County Captain Jake Murphy facing former Cornish Pirates Rhodri Mcatee at fly half.
A lot could rest on the visitors ability to stop Camborne's prolific wing Alex Ducker, who bagged a hat trick when the teams met in September and the hosts preventing Barum from creating too many opportunities in the centre, where they caused problems in the earlier clash.
