Liskeards pitch as always was looking fantastic and the ground staff should be highly commended. Camelford took the early parts of the first half playing some fine football which led to their opening goal on the 7th minute, when Hambly played the ball to Cherrill who picked up Haynes superbly on the overlap to play the ball across to Hopkinson who finished with a diving header! His 5th goal in as many games.
Camelford were nearly two up when Harrison teed up Jenkins for a fine pass to Stafford who cut in side and fired just over the bar.
Liskeard grew into the game as the half continued and after Lorenz picked up the ball close to the half way line there was only one outcome, as he dribbled through the Camels back line and finished past Gwillam at the near post to make it 1-1.
Camelford responded to the goal well when Hambly played an exquisite ball through to Boxall as he set himself and fired just past the scrambling Castle in goal.
Liskeard nearly took the lead just before the half when Woods linked up well with Lorenz however his shot was well saved by the feet of Gwillam.
Half Time- Liskeard 1 Camelford 1
Stafford the only change of the half as on came Kian Burns to make his Camels debut.
Liskeard started the half lively and after some good footwork from Alcantara his eventual cross was met by Lorenz who's effort was well saved once again. This was shortly followed by Liskeards best chance of the half as Woods played through Lorenz, only for Sleep to make a goal saving slide challenge to win back the ball. Lorenz got to the ball first and set the onrushing Woods who's effort struck the post.
Will Cherrill came off for the Camels and on came Matt Andrews, and for Liskeard Alcantara came off for Knight.
Knight nearly scored within moments of entering the field, Lorenz played the ball through but Gwillam was there again to stop the shot.
The Camels had defended well and when Andrew received the ball he fizzed out a pass to Burns who cut inside and fired a beauty with his weak foot into the far top corner.
Adam Jenkin was substituted for Jake Williams.
Camelford could have extended their lead late on in proceedings when Andrew played through Burns who's initial shot fell kindly to Hopkinson, but Peel was in the right place to block Bobby's powerful strike.
The final whistle blew and Camelford picked up their first away victory of the season as they look forward to Saturday's vase match at home to Ashton and Backwell as Liskeard hope to bounce back in the league against Launceston next Tuesday.
