Carlisle's newest American Football team started their season with a home game against Manchester Titans on Easter Sunday.
With plenty of no arm tackles and a fair few off the ball blocks, it was just like a Hornets game. Only kidding guys. In fact American Football came to Carlisle RFC as Carlisle Sentinels came up against a strong Manchester Titans side, eventually going down 48-3. There were some big lads on the field but the Titans were just a little more mobile and were 42-3 up at half time. Fair play to the Sentinels in not giving up and they only conceded another 6 points by the end of the fourth quarter. The Sentinels will be back at Warwick road on the 10th May when they entertain Halton Spartans.
