Leave Nottingham on the A610 Alfreton Road. Go straight over the junction with the M1 and stay on the A610, through Ripley, to junction with the A6 at Ambergate.

Turn left onto the A6 Matlock Road and after 2.6 miles turn right into Bridge St for Christchurch Meadow.

Leave Nottingham by the A60 Mansfield Road to join the A614 and A1 north. Follow the A1 and A1(M) to junction 65. Leave the A1 here and join the A194(M) (signposted South Shields / Tyne Tunnel). At the end of this motorway turn left onto the A184. Follow the A184 for just under four miles before turning right onto the A167 to cross the Tyne Bridge.

Once over the river join the A167M and after half a mile branch right onto the A1058 (signs Tynemouth). Stay on this road for one mile before turning left onto Newton Road (opposite the Corner House pub). Follow to the next roundabout, turn left and the ground is on the right between a takeaway and a florists.
