The game will be played at the David Ross Sports Village, NG7 2RD and both sides are likely to feature a number of triallists as well as more established first team players.

Kick off is at 8pm and it promises to be a decent run out against opponents who are always competitive.

The Millers have a busy few days in store. Carlton will find out who their FA Cup Preliminary Round opponents are on Friday when the draw for the two Preliminary Rounds is published. The Millers have a bye through the Extra-Preliminary Round due to their high league placing last season.

They will also find out who they have drawn in the FA Trophy and whether they have to play in the Preliminary Round of that competition or whether they will start in the First Round Qualifying.

Saturday sees the trip to Merthyr Town with a supporters coach leaving the ground at 8.30am and Millers Barn at 9am. The cost is just £20 return. Contact Gary Clarke on 07907064189 to book a seat. Carlton then travel to AFC Mansfield next Tuesday night (9 July) before the first home friendly against Burton Albion U19s on Saturday 13 July. By then the league fixtures should have been released and the Millers should be able to see the plan for the next 10 months.
