After a frustrating draw against Ashington in midweek, eighth placed Carlton are looking for points on the road at in form Newton Aycliffe.
After a decent start and topping out in eighth themselves in game week three, the home side dropped to nineteenth but a great run of form in October sees them in tenth and would climb above their visitors with a win. Aycliffe have won their last three matches, and are the last remaining side in the division who are yet to be beaten on home turf. Dean Thexton nabbed a hat trick against Consett recently and has netted thirteen goals in all competitions this season.
A tough ask for Carlton therefore, however, the Millers have a decent away record so far this campaign and will have fond memories of a 3-1 win here last season, Niall Davie, Niall Hylton and Nathan Watson on target. A win here really is needed if Carlton are to keep touch with the top five.
