And so we had our first ever virtual AGM via Zoom on Wednesday this week. A little odd but great to see peoples faces at least! It was nice to be able to round up the season and discuss our plans for next season even if they are little up in the air with the current Covid-19 situation affecting so many sports like ours. England Hockey are on the case with their guidelines but they are in the hands of the government with when we can start properly again, trying to plan for all eventualities.
The club is in a healthy position financially but always looking to strengthen our membership and encourage new players in, especially a goalkeeper, so if you know anyone, young or old, new or existing to the sport we have a position to fill!
