Tonight the U8’s enjoyed a very high quality Futsal session which was run by Teesside Futsal’s head coach Eddy Robertson.

All the kids were engaged from start to finish and have learnt some vital skills which will aid them in their second phase of the season which is a futsal league.

Speaking with Eddy after the session echoed what the coaching staff at team have been saying in that the kids have great potential and have all of the basic skills required to be an excellent team.

U8’s coach Conor Jackson’s comments - “firstly I would like to thank Eddy for coming down to run a session with the kids. They enjoyed it and the feedback from the parents is nothing but praise and the kids are all very tired after the session.

“The ball mastery theme of the session was brilliant and and all of the children were challenged both mentally and physically whilst learning new skills and other ways of doing what they have already shown they are so good at.

“Good luck to Eddy and his Teesside University Futsal club for their season and hopefully we can come up and visit to watch one of your games in the future.”
