Champions Soccer League USA (CSLUSA) is celebrating Christmas Day with the announcement that Abbey Villa Soccer Club will join others to play in the north-east division starting in the spring. Abbey Villa Soccer Club was formed in 2002 and has brought a very competitive team to the pitch. The club is based in Hopkinton, MA (west-south-west of Boston). “We have gained a strong partner in Abbey Villa to help grow the game of soccer. The club has developed an exceptional development academy and we are looking forward to see the team they put together. Abbey Villa has wasted no time in getting things going and will be announcing tryouts very shortly” CSLUSA President Kevin Hickling said. The CSLUSA continues to add teams throughout the United States and is gaining traction in the national footprint. “The New England area has provided us with many teams for consideration and we are reviewing team applications and approving ones that meet the high caliber capabilities in the way that Abbey Villa has” Hickling stated.
