During the very small break between seasons, a member of our committee conducted a straw poll amongst the lads who played and asked what would make them more likely to stay for refreshments after the game. Armed with their suggestions and supported by ex First Team Asst Manager and player Alan Crane (Painter & Decorator 07786005047) Leanne has gone about creating a warmer and more inviting atmosphere on a very small budget.
Pride of place as you walk in to the left of the snack bar is the new club badge (printed by Projekt Prints,(contact@projektprints.co.uk) which is a slight tweak on the design by 8yr old Lesley Vernon some 40 yrs ago.
To date the improvements have been well received but it would be great if old and new when visiting shared their thoughts with us.
