Honiton win 6-1 at Chard

Due to a number of players being unavailable, manager Stu Parris had to sign three players before kick-off and could name just one sub.
Honiton went ahead in the 8th minute and doubled the advantage ten minutes later as Chard failed to cut out a cross from the left flank and the ball was slammed into the net from the edge of the area.
It was 3-0 five minutes later when Chard once again failed to clear the ball and it was headed over the line from close range.
Two goals in the last ten minutes of the half saw the visitors leading 5-0 at the break.
The second period was much more evenly contested and Chard grabbed a consolation goal with five minutes left on the clock as Ben Mear took the ball from his own half and into the oppositions penalty area before passing it to Liam Riste, who calmly slotted it past the advancing keeper.
Honiton had the final word, as they made it 6-1 in the second minute of stoppage time.
