Following yesterday’s announcement that Scott Dundas has been relieved of his duties by mutual consent we are pleased to announce the appointment of MARK SWANN as our new Manager.
We would like to place on record our thanks to Scott who has been with the club since 2017 and wish him and his family all the very best for the future.
Mark is well known at Chasetown and in Midlands Non-League football.
He has previously enjoyed spells at Chasetown as a Player (2007-2008), Assistant 1st team Manager alongside Charlie Blakemore (2009) and had plenty of success as Reserve Team Manager (2010 - 2011).
Swann recently left Walsall Wood at the end of October with them sitting top of the Midland League Premier Division table and had also previously managed Romulus FC.
Mark will take charge with immediate effect. However, due to prior work commitments, is unable to attend the game on Wednesday at Carlton and we have asked Charlie Blakemore to take temporary charge for this game.
We wish Mark and his management team, which will be announced shortly, all the very best and look forward to them taking the club forward to future success.
Mike Joiner
Chairman and Chief Executive Chasetown FC
