After announcing the signing of Lewi Burnside from Lichfield City FC yesterday evening, our latest new signing needs no introduction to Scholars fans.

We are delighted that following his departure from Hereford, Curtis Pond has agreed a deal to return to the club for the new season.

Mark Swann, Chasetown FC Gaffer, said “As soon as we knew that Pondy wouldn’t be staying at Hereford we were keen to talk to him. He made it clear that we were his preferred club and I am happy that we have managed to secure his services once again. Not only is he top goalkeeper but he is also a big character within the dressing room”.

I am sure that Chasetown supporters will be only too happy to see Curtis wearing a Chasetown shirt again this season!
