Max joins the Scholars from Northwich Victoria with whom he has enjoyed a short spell.

21 year old Chimenes is an ex-Port Vale scholar and has also featured for Newcastle Town and 1874 Northwich, in fact, Scholars fans may remember Max opening the scoring at Church Street this season in our game against 1874 Northwich.

Swanny’s added, “We have been working hard to strengthen the squad ahead of the run in. Whenever we discussed the profile of the forward we would like the attributes that kept coming up mirrored Max’s. He is a quick, strong athletic striker who knows where the goal is. He, along with Carter, will add some energy to the squad and will provide opposition defences with a real handful”.
