The U12 Mini Chieftains had a birds eye view of the Warriors first game of the season as they watched on from the balcony. The team, who sponsor their coach and Warriors captain Sean Martin, cheered the team on to victory as they defeated Peterborough Phantoms in an entertaining match at the Riverside.

The Mini-chieftains watched on as the Warriors won in a tense penalty shootout. The team were then on hand to come down to the bench to hand out the man of the match awards, handing the Warriors man of the match prize to Luca, who is another of their coaches helping the netminders.
