Thanks to the various weather issues, our final league game took place on a Wednesday evening under the floodlights at Hertford.

Typically there was an incident on the M25 and then another at St Albans which made the traveling a little fraught but eventually everyone arrived and after a warm up, took to the first team pitch to play Hertford A.

First half tries from Tom (2), Dom (Try and a Conversion) and Jonas and the half time score was 5:22 in our favour.

The second half saw a wealth of quality play that resulted in tries for both teams. Our tries were scored by Ross, Liam (2), Dapo and Harry Colgate. Dom and Tom both converted one to make the final score 17:51.

All of the lads played their hearts out, they knew they had to win and Hertford certainly didn't make it easy by any stretch of the imagination. However, the hard work and determination showed by every member of the squad paid dividends and at the end of the evening, the final whistle went and we were Division Two champions.

So well done to not just the entire squad who played so well, but also the players from the 2nd team who came to support and the parents who came to cheer the lads onto victory.
