Cheshire to take on Warwickshire at Chester in 50 over clash

Save the date for a cracking day of cricket as Cheshire take on the might of Warwickshire in a 50 over clash at Filkins Lane.

It's all change in 2020 as National County Cricket Association (formerly minor counties) sides have a chance to face the professionals.

Minor counties cricket has had a makeover which includes each side hosting a first class county as preparation for their Royal London 50 over competition.

The games will coincide with the start of the Hundred and Warwickshire's visit will be the first time a first class county has played in Cheshire since Hampshire visited in 2004.

We're looking to set up a full day of top entertainment and we'll keep you posted. In the meantime, put Friday 17 July (11.00am start) in the diary!
