Chew Valley U10s put in an impressive performance at the inaugural Yeovil Rugby Festival.
The competition was stiff with the teams from Trowbridge, Castle Cary, Tor, Swanage and Wareham and the hosts, Yeovil but both teams gave it their all.
Chew Valley White came through the strongest in the end, dominating their group and winning all 3 matches whilst conceding only 2 tries. This saw them go through to the 1st place playoff v Yeovil.
It was another bruising encounter but the boys stood strong and united and saw off Yeovil 4-0, therby being crowned Festival Champions.
It was a pleasure to watch all the boys enjoying the rugby and supporting each other to the end regardless of which team they played in.
Thanks to our wonderful parents who gave up their time today, and to the boys, who demonstrated exemplary behaviour on and off the pitch.
