As Chew playing with the strong wind in the 1st Half, it was vital to make the most in the windy muddy conditions against a Wells team who pushed us hard the previous week.
With the forwards securing 'front foot ball' Chew were able to make the most of territory and possession and headed into HT 24-0, but knowing it would be a different game playing against the wind and a hard running Wells team next half.
The 2nd Half was a bloody battle in the mud, like the Somme commented one parent. Wells now with the wind at their back repeatedly attacked the Chew line, but resolute defence kept Wells out. Two further Chew tries secured an excellent 34-0 victory.
A very impressive team performance from Chew, with the score sheet being the only thing clean at the end of the game.
